Let It Burn

On Let It Burn frequent Kings & Creatures collaborator Brandon Lau returns with a new take on his relentless, juggernaut sound. Moving away from traditional trailer rhythms and motifs, Lau leans on dark hip-hop influences delivering an album that carries all the cinematic command of previous efforts but with an added swagger and modern flair. It's heavy and propulsive but will also have you nodding your head, his aggressive synths snarling alongside trap hats and thumping grooves. One consistent throughout Lau's work is his Terminator-like momentum, a constant, driving energy that always pays off, and Let It Burn illustrates that to perfection.
