Empires

'Empires' sees the return of UK experimentalists Kas-Tro to Kings & Creatures. Following their spectral, sci-fi epic album 'Blood Relic', the London outfit has taken things one step further into the dystopian abyss. 'Empires' is intergalactic in scale and imagination, blending the relentless power of mechanical synths with soaring melodies that feel grand and orchestral.

It's heavy on melodrama and intensity, masterfully painting an image of future worlds and dimensions where all is not well. On the opener, 'The Others' Kas-Tro team up with K&C alumni Brandon Lau (Hand of God) who delivers an extra dose of Terminator-like aggression and urgency. Epic and deafening, with a heavy dose of wonder and beauty - Kas-Tro has delivered an album fit for the next generation of Sci-Fi and horror.
